What a lovely surprise I had when I discovered this new gallery recently opened at 89 Yorkville Avenue, featuring the paintings of Brian Marshall Schieder, who also manages the gallery. Brian kindly offered coffee and cookies as he shared his background in Toronto’s arts community and some wonderful stories from earlier Yorkville days when all THE best galleries were located here in the village. His works are bright, joyous explosions of colours and you cannot help but smile when you walk down the few steps into the showroom. He and his partner also plan on bringing in select exquisite French furniture pieces like this little Tiffany blue and gold table that I wish would find its way into my boudoir.
