Last Saturday evening, I was introduced to a whole world I never experienced before – the world of Dr. Seuss! LISS GALLERY in Yorkville (Toronto) hosted a meet-n-greet with the curator of the Dr. Seuss/Theodore Geisel art collection , BILL DREYER (pictured with me below) and the walls of the gallery were covered with some of the most whimsical, beautiful, Seussical artwork, including many of Geisel’s original crayon and ink sketches framed alongside his actual book illustrations.
and Brian certainly embraced the “green eggs” theme in his fabulous jacket (pictured below with my best friend, Erena, and with David)
The Dr. Seuss exhibition of original art and limited edition museum-quality prints at www.LissGallery.com 140 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto, runs through the end of the year. So don’t be a Grinch….come check out the colourful, joyous art of Theodore Geisel.
