Had the pleasure of visiting the Brazen Head Irish Pub in Liberty Village this evening with other event planners and boy, do they know how to pamper their guests…especially their tummies. This is a great venue for social gatherings, corporate events, celebrations of all kinds or simply grabbing a delicious bite before the game – you can see BMO Field from the rooftop.
Two huge patios afford spectacular views across Liberty Village, and the interior of the 3rd floor Poets Pub has a stage for weekly entertainment then up on the 4th floor is Blast! a corporate and private events room complete with P/A, video screens, WiFi, etc. The grand dining room on the main floor is elegant along with the main Liberty Bar and Garden Patio. But the food…oh, the yummy food was fantastic. My fave is definitely the fish and chips (bottom picture), served in mini newspaper cones with tartar sauce. Mmmmmm, thank you for the several helpings I scoffed down. Then there was the Yorkies (centre photos) – mini Yorkshire puddings with meat and gravy centres were also fabulous, although quite messy…but who cares when they’re that good?!
Lexie from Paint Nite [ http://www.paintnite.com ] was there, encouraging guests to contribute to the canvas and she convinced my colleague, Peter Mazzotta, publisher of LEO Magazine, to add to the collective masterpiece – he painted his magazine’s logo!
Many thanks to Pamela Smith, Publisher of the TSE Guide [www.TSEvents.com ] for the invitation and a HUGE thank you to Aleasha Gilpin and Catherine Heffernan of FAB Concepts Inc [www.FABConcepts.ca ] for hosting us…and impressing the heck out of all the guests. Bravo, for a job well done.
I encourage you all to visit the Brazen Head Irish Pub and enjoy their sexy, sunny patios this summer. http://www.brazenhead.ca/
